A well-known builder, a sort after location and a coveted finished product meant that ‘Scorpia’ would garner a lot of traction and attention across the residential property industry. BLOK Design Co. needed to style in a way that conveyed how each area could work and pull together all the special design elements.
Why Kolbi?
BLOK DESIGN Co. was commissioned to style SCORPIA in its entirety. With exclusive agency over the styling of every space, BLOK was afforded the opportunity to ensure a cohesive and curated palette that was consistent throughout. BLOK worked to ensure that their finish never overshadowed what was already so beautifully executed and aimed to add an additional layer that brought all the elements together.
The brief for this project was for it feel ‘not styled’.
BLOK worked with the builders to create an aesthetic that was perfectly suited to the layout of this architectural masterpiece and kept the style subtle, natural, and modern contemporary.
BLOK selected the Dusk Spree Dining Table to be the centrepiece of the thoughtfully designed and perfectly positioned living areas. The flow of these spaces out onto the unique middle courtyard showcased an ‘entertainers lifestyle’ and the addition of this marble beauty ensured that luxury was not lost in the functionality.
BLOK also included the Juniper Pearl Sofa and Cotton Star Armchair in their styling. Combining the stunning curves and comfort of these pieces with the concrete and neutral colour palette of this space complimented the overall aesthetic.
With all its curves, light and executive finishes, this property and the overall build put this project in a styling category all of its own.
One of the greatest compliments a property stylist can receive is that the finished product feels like ‘a stylist was never actually there’. These were the words of the builder when they viewed the finished product so, it is no secret that our collaboration with KOLBI ensured we achieved what we set out to do.
